She revealed that Fela Kuti, The Stylistics, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson's Off the Wall have inspired the album. Rap-Up magazine have confirmed the album will be released in 2011. Beyonce Knowles 'll be one of the headline acts at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival, performing a 90-minute set on the last day of the festival on June 26, 2011.

Aside from music, Beyonce Knowles'll be making a return to acting as Esther Hoffman Lead Role, starring in a remake of A Star Is Born, to be directed and produced by Clint Eastwood for Warner Bros. The remake will be the fourth telling of the "A Star Is Born" tale, the most memorable in recent years being the 1976 version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.

In February 2011, LA Times magazine placed Beyonce Knowles at number twenty-five on its list of the 50 Most Beautiful Women in Film.

Producer Los Da Mystro, a frequent collaborator of The Dream, who worked with Tricky Stewart on "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", revealed on twitter on September 23, 2010 that Knowles could be releasing her new single in three weeks. "Listening to New B record Dream wrote ... F---INg INSANE! WOw!! She About to Kill the game again! Had to Listen again!! Y'all C in 3 weeks!"

Will taking a break from making music in 2010.

Early this year, Beyonce Knowles stated
in an interview with "USA Today" that she will be taking a break from making music in 2010.

"It's definitely time to take a break, to rechage my batteries. I'd like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I just need to live life, to be inspired by things again."

Beyonce Knowles also stated she also wants to go to resturants, take classes, go to movies, broadway shows and also plans to spend more time with her nephew, Daniel. (son of her sister, Solange Knowles)
